Comparing Man Of Steel Superman Costume To The Dawn Of Justice One

Reported by Jay Cochran - 10:53 AM 2014.07.03
Now that folks have had time to digest the new image revealed earlier this morning giving us our first look at Henry Cavill As Superman From Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice it's time to do a little analyzing. First off the new costume only appears to have slight alterations from the one used in Man of Steel. Most noticeably Superman seems to have switched from a circular belt buckle to a square one. Other than that at least based on the new image it does not look like much has changed. Kal-El looks like he has bulked up tad more in this movie from the previous one, and he does seem to sport a more greased back hairstyle than previously. As for the colors of the suit it is hard to say. Today's image released by Warner Bros. definitely has darker tones to it, but that is most likely because the image depicts Superman standing in the darker and gritter city limits of Gotham, Batman's stomping grounds.

Have you noticed any other difference between Superman's Dawn of Justice look from his previous Man of Steel one? Let us know it the comments section below.

Filming is underway on Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” the highly anticipated action adventure from director Zack Snyder, starring Henry Cavill in the role of Clark Kent/Superman, and Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman.

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” also stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane returning from “Man of Steel,” Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film.

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is written by Chris Terrio, from a screenplay by David S. Goyer. Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder are producing, with Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Wesley Coller, David S. Goyer and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers.
