Daniel Radcliffe steps further away from his wholesome "Harry Potter" image as he tackles the role of a young man who sprouts devil-like horns as he's publicly accused of killing his girlfriend in the first teaser trailer for the upcoming horror pic "Horns."
An adaptation of the 2010 novel by Joe Hill (the son of Stephen King), "Horns" centers on Ignatius "Ig" Perrish (Radcliffe), a hapless twenty-something whose public image is tarnished when his girlfriend (Juno Temple) is mysteriously and brutally murdered. Blamed but not arrested, Ig wakes up one day to find out that horns have sprouted out of his forehead. They also come with a supernatural power that compels people to confess their most heinous secrets -- giving him a unique opportunity to clear his name. Of course, he will need to find the real killer first to do so.
A supernatural thriller driven by fantasy, mystery and romance, follows Ig Perrish (Daniel Radcliffe), the number one suspect for the violent rape and murder of his girlfriend, Merrin (Juno Temple). Hungover from a night of hard drinking, Ig awakens one morning to find horns starting to grow from his own head and soon realizes their power drives people to confess their sins and give in to their most selfish and unspeakable impulses -- an effective tool in his quest to discover the true circumstances of his late girlfriend's tragedy and for exacting revenge on her killer.
Horns stars Daniel Radcliffe, Juno Temple, Max Minghella, Kelli Garner, Joe Anderson, David Morse, Sabrina Carpenter, Heather Graham, Kathleen Quinlan
