Zack Snyder Defends Aquaman With Detroit Radio Call-In

Reported by Outsiders - 01:15 PM 2014.08.09
On Friday morning, director Zack Snyder called into Detroit sports talk radio station 97.1 The Ticket and showed love for DC superhero Aquaman by defending his character. The radio show was badmouthing the character while en route to the Detroit set of Batman V. Superman when Snyder explained his reasoning. I dont want to give anything away about the movie, but Aquaman has some cool abilities, he said. People are like: Oh, what? Does he talk to animals? Cause that seems like what he does. Or fish? The cool thing with Aquaman is hes Triton, so you have to realize that could cut the flesh of Superman if they came in contact.

Snyder still has not confirmed if Aquaman will be appearing in the 2016 Batman V. Superman movie with Jason Momoa to play the ocean character. Hes super-strong cause of course he can exist at these super-deep depths, so when he comes up here, hes crazy strong, said Snyder. Not to say hes in my movie or anything like that. But he has the potential to be badass. Thats all Im saying. Listen to the call here as an MP3 file.
