Joseph Fiennes Joins The Cast Of 'American Horror Story' Season 2

 EW has learned that the Shakespeare in Love star Joseph Fiennes is in negotiations to appear as a regular on FX's American Horror Story season 2. Fiennes would play 'the head of the institution for the criminally insane where star Jessica Lange works, and will also be the object of her attraction; the pair have a May/December romance.' The only other information given about the character is that he's "tortured." The cast for the second season would consist of Fiennes, Jessica Lange, James Cromwell, Chloe Sevigny, Zachary Quinto, Adam Levine, Lily Rabe, Sarah Paulson, and Evan Peters.MORE television NEWS
