HBO's The Girl - Full Length Trailer

A brand-new trailer for HBO's "The Girl" has been released. And it features a heavily prosthetic Toby Jones as legendary director, Alfred Hitchcock and Sienna Miller as fashion model-turned-actress, Tippi Hedren. The film, out next month, dramatizes the abnormal working relationship between Hitchcock and Hedren -- specifically during the time they worked together on the classic thriller "The Birds." The story is based on Hedren's allegations, in which she claims to have suffered emotional abuse from the director, due to his weird infatuation of her, despite being married. In this new trailer, we get a better glimpse at Imelda Staunton as Hitchcock's wife, Alma. And it seems she suspects that there's some kind of strange connection between her husband and his leading lady. "The Girl" premieres on HBO starting Saturday, October 20th. Starring Toby Jones and Sienna Miller, THE GIRL tells the story of iconic director Alfred Hitchcock’s obsessive relationship with his leading lady, Tippi Hedren.
