Image Of Norman Bates & His Mother From A&E's 'Bates Motel'

Entertainment Weekly has released an image from A&E's series Bates Motel showing Freddie Highmore as a younger Norman Bates with his mother, played by Vera Farmiga. The series is set to premiere in Spring 2013 and showrunners Carlton Cuse and Kerry Ehrin say the series won't be limited just to what occurs in the rooms (and showers) of the motel.
 ''The town itself is very much a character in the show,'' Cuse says. ''There are a lot of secrets that lurk beneath this bucolic veneer.''
