SyFy's Helix - 'Laws Of Nature' Extended Trailer

Reported by Outsiders - 08:35 PM 2013.11.28

Beginning in January on the SyFy channel, Friday nights will be infected with "Helix," the creepy virus outbreak series from executive producer Ronald D. Moore (Battlestar Galactica). A brand-new extended trailer for the 13-episode horror-drama is out -- and it will likely have you reaching for your Purell bottle by the time you're done watching it.

Set in a disease control center in the Antarctic, Billy Campbell stars as a CDC scientist tasked to lead a team of specialists in a mission to identify an unknown pathogen that has been turning victims into rabid monsters. If not contained, the new virus has the potential to kill thousands -- but something tells us that there are greater threats lurking, such as "The Wolverine" star Hiroyuki Sanada who plays a scientist with a hidden agenda.

Helix is an intense thriller about a team of scientists from the Centers for Disease Control who travel to a high-tech research facility in the Arctic to investigate a possible disease outbreak, only to find themselves pulled into a terrifying life-and-death struggle that holds the key to mankindís salvation or total annihilation.

Helix stars Billy Campbell, Hiroyuki Sanada, Jeri Ryan, Kyra Zagorsky, Jordan Hayes, Mark Ghanime, Neil Napier, Catherine Lemieux, Meegwun Fairbrother

Release: January 10th, 2014 (on SyFy)
