SDCC 2013: Seventh Son - Highlights From The Panel

The following are the highlights from the Seventh Son panel.
Jeff Bridges is the first to come out for Seventh Son and tells the crowd that the film deals with myths and the film's tagline should be chock full of myths.
a exclusive extended trailer begins to play, followed by the rest of the cast hitting the stage.
Antje Traue, Kit Harington and Ben Barnes, along with director Sergei Bodrov.
Bodrov says Bridges is the coolest dude on Earth and this movie is about him.
He proceed to say that Ben Barnes is the hero of the story because he is the seventh son of a seventh son and Bridges purchases to train.
Kit Harington mentions about shooting under a rain tower for seven straight days.
A woman asks Bridges about physical fighting and says she can't image him doing the things at his age. Bridges says it's all about advanced pretend and it's like being a kid and just playing.
Bodrov is asked about special effects and CGI. He says that you need to forget about CGI and just concentrate on emotions while filming.
Antje Traue gets asked about what she likes better? Action or drama? She says she finds action to be fun and how in the movie she can transform into an owel and loved to fight in her feathery dress.
Barnes is saying that acting was particularly tricky on such a long shoot.
Bridges is reading a quote that he likes about the difference between good and evil and how it exists in everyone and is often times impossible to separate. He's saying that the true gift of humanity is imagination and that it protects us from the sometimes harsh side of nature. He says that humans learn through hard lessons, though. "Take drinking," he says. "How many times do you to learn the hangover lesson, for example."
The last question is about the connection between Seventh Son and Gaellic myth Bodrov admits that they've taken a few liberties.
