The following are the highlights from the Godzilla panel.
The panel opens with black and white news footage starting on the screens.
A beach with an atomic testing blast!
The mushroom cloud is swelling and the Godzilla logo comes up.
Gareth Edwards comes out on stage followed by Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Bryan Cranston.
Edwards tells everyone that filming has just finished two days ago in Hawaii and was blown away by the creative freedom
"So basically," Cranston jokes, "You're just like any other suck-up!"
Elizabeth Olsen says that shooting was non-stop. They were always shooting.
Godzilla was Cranston's favorite monster when he was a kid and King Kong was too apologetic. He does his King Kong as a wimp impression.
"You really invest in these people and you still get Godzilla," he says of the human characters.
Edwards says it was important that the human characters be people who are close to Godzilla and not just random citizens.
Edwards says that shooting in Canada meant everyone was super-friendly.
Edwards was crossing the border and got stopped. They looked him up and realized that the film was really Godzilla. The border agents got excited and said, "Don't fuck it up, man!"
Edwards talks about the pressure he put on himself to make the best Godzilla film that he can and it was really important to honor the Toho legacy/
Edwards says he has a surprise and introduces the new trailer...
The Warner Bros. and Legendary logos appear in black and white.
Soldiers running through the streets.
A flooded city.
Cranston takes off a radiation suit.
Paratroopers leaping out of a plane.
Missles being loaded.
Some sort of monster appears but it's not Godzilla.
It's attacking a dock.
Soldiers are fighting it.
A massive scaled foot comes down.
This monster notices Godzilla and freaks out.
Godzilla is gonna mess this monster up!
The footage cuts away to a "2014" logo...
The panel ends.
