Dredd 3D - Blu-Ray Release Trailer

"Dredd," the uber-violent comic book reboot about a futuristic law officer (Karl Urban) who fights his way through a 200-story building crammed with drug-addicted criminals, surprisingly earned a number of great reviews when it opened back in September, but unfortunately flopped at the box office. Now that the movie is about to enter the home entertainment market, Lionsgate released this pretty awesome 60-second Blu-Ray trailer, reminding us why the comic book character has been beloved for so many years -- He's a badass cop, who really hates paperwork! The future America is an irradiated wasteland. On its East Coast lies Mega City One -- a vast, violent metropolis where criminals rule the chaotic streets. The only force of order lies with the urban cops called "Judges" who possess the combined powers of judge, jury and instant executioner. The ultimate Judge, Dredd (Karl Urban) is tasked with ridding the city of its latest scourge -- a dangerous drug and the sadistic prostitute turned drug pusher who is using it to take over the city.
