David Goyer Quits FlashForward To Write The Next Dark Knight?

 David Goyer has quit his role as showrunner for ABC series FlashForward, the network has announced. He will continue to be involved as an executive producer.Goyer became the sole showrunner last October when Marc Guggenheim left. A replacement for Goyer hasn't yet been named. Goyer listed his increasing feature film work as the main reason he couldn’t stick with the show: "As my feature projects have started ramping up again, I felt I was being pulled in too many directions. I’m proud of the show and excited about the relaunch. It’s in great hands." Nikki Finke is reporting that script duties on the third Batman movie as one of the primary reasons Goyer walked away. Finke explains, ”Goyer’s feature career is really heating up, since he co-wrote Batman Begins, and penned the story for The Dark Knight, and is now writing the third Batman installment with Chris Nolan’s brother Jonah.” Finke is usually up to date on the entertainment news but nothing has been officially said if this is the case for Goyer or not but we will stay on top of it. Questions remain of who is taking over FlashForward and will they finish the remaining five episodes for when the show is supposed to come back in March? MORE NEWS
