Sketch comedy group "The Whitest Kids U Know" hit the big screen with their raunchy sex-comedy, "Miss March". The group rose from the bowels of the internet to tv and now beyond, and I've followed them most of the way. Their work hasn't always blown me away with laughter, like their competitors, "Derrick Comedy", but overall, The Whitest Kids still rock. I was a little worried about Miss March because of this, though. Would it suck?
Miss March had me crying tears of funny into my girlfriend's popcorn, which meant I got to eat the rest of it. Speaking of her, she liked it too! Yup, this is one misogynistic and politically incorrect comedy for the whole family.
If you haven't seen the trailers, "Miss March" is the hilarious story of a celibate couple, Eugene and Cindi, and their retarded friend Tucker. On the night the couple decides to finally have sex, Eugene accidentally ends up in a coma. 4 years later he wakes up to find his former abstinence-preaching girlfriend on the centerfold of Playboy.
The acting, cinematography, and overall movie-geek stuff isn't perfect, but what can you expect from an amateur internet comedy sketch group? For what it is, it exceeds expectations.
I won't say much more about the story than that, for fear of ruining any funny parts. Just go out and see it, it's entertaining enough to justify the cost of a movie ticket.
