FOX Renews 'Family Guy', 'American Dad' & Undecided On 'Cleveland Show'
Reported by Outsiders - 03:02 PM 2012.05.10
With all the shows that FOX is adding, dropping or renewing. They have also found the time to take care of their weekend Animation Domination starting with the renewal of the animated comedy Family Guy for an eleventh season and American Dad for an eighth. American Dad has enough episodes done to complete it's sixth and seventh season which will begin running in September. Each series has been ordered for 22-episodes and will keep both shows through the 2013-2014 season. By then, Family Guy will have amassed 239 episodes.Fox still has not decided on the option of picking up the fifth-season renewal for MacFarlane’s third animated series, The Cleveland Show, which is finishing its third season on the air. The series is midway in production on a full fourth season worth of episodes for next fall. Fox is holding off to see how the schedule is going to work out and because the series has been sold in off-network syndication to Adult Swim for a fall 2013 launch. For the rest of the Fox's Animation Domination shows, The Simpsons has a two-year renewal, Allen Gregory has been canceled, and Napoleon Dynamite is still on the bubble. No comment has been given about Bob’s Burgers. Source: Deadline MORE television NEWS |
