Mariana Klaveno To Play 'Lily Munster' Only If ABC Releases Her

 Deadline is reporting that Mariana Klaveno is stuck between two networks. Klaveno is on the pilot Devious Maids for ABC but she is not a lead on the show and only has a handful of lines in the pilot. She has also been hired by NBC to play the role of Lily Munster in NBC’s Munsters reboot Mockingbird Lane. The problem is the pilot for ABC's Devious Maids may possible move to Lifetime and the producer has so far refused to release the actress. Sources claim that NBC is even willing to let Klaveno recur on Devious Maids in exchange for securing her in first position to Mockingbird Lane where she would play the female lead.ABC Studios is making cost cuts on the show with its move to cable but doesn't want to convert Klaveno's role to recurring but they are limited on how long until they have to make a final decision. They have until the end of June to decide and if nothing happens by than, NBC will likely go back to the drawing board and start casting the Lily Munster role again. MORE television NEWS
