Portia de Rossi To Play Lily Munster In NBC's Mockingbird Lane

 NBC has decided to go with Portia de Rossi instead of Mariana Klaveno for the role of Lily Munster in NBC’s Munsters reboot Mockingbird Lane.We reported before that Mariana Klaveno had previously been cast as Lily Munster but only if she would be released for ABC’s pilot Devious Maids, where she was a regular. Devious Maids producer ABC Studios did not release Klaveno or agree to make her a recurring on the project, which made NBC look elsewhere for the female lead. The cast currently consists of Jerry O'Connell, Charity Wakefield, Mason Cook and Eddie Izzard with the pilot being written by Bryan Fuller and directed by Bryan Singer.
