Robert Patrick To Appear On HBO's 'True Blood'

 TVGuide.com has confirmed that Robert Patrick has been cast as Alcide's father on HBO's True Blood.According to True-Blood.net, Patrick will portray Jackson Herveaux, whose debt to Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) was what brought werewolf Alcide (Joe Manganiello) into the fold of the series. Jackson is introduced through a flashback to when Alcide and Debbie Pelt (Brit Morgan) were teenagers, and Alcide actually looked up to his father. In present day, that's not the case since Jackson has apparently given up on life. Patrick will appear in at least two episodes, beginning with Episode 9, slated to air Sunday, Aug. 5 at 9/8c on HBO.
