Warner Bros. TV And The CW Create 'Sleepy Hollow' Drama Project
Reported by Outsiders - 05:01 PM 2012.08.08

The CW has won the pilot war when it comes down to the Sleepy Hollow drama landing at Warner Bros. TV. The network has set up a new television series called Sleepy Hollow from Patrick Macmanus and Grant Scharbo. This contemporary take on Washington Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow will follow FBI agent Ichabod Crane as he teams up with the town's local law enforcement to investigate a series of beheadings.

The show was shopped around last month until Fox came up with their own Sleepy Hollow show which is directed by Len Wiseman and written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Phillip Iscove.

The CW decided to hold back and Warner Bros. eventually proceeded with buying the project, describing it as a boundary-pushing horror story for television.
