'Smallville' Heads Get OK For Aquaman Pilot At WB
Reported by Jay Cochran - 05:33 PM 2005.11.14

The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that WB Network has given a put pilot commitment to a live-action rendering of the DC Comics character Aquaman from "Smallville" executive producers Miles Millar and Alfred Gough and Warner Bros. Television. Like with Smallville this will be a story about a young superhero coming of age, and not about costume cladded heroes vs villians.

Word is that Alan Ritchson who took on the role of a young Aquaman in the recent Smallville episode "Aqua", will not be reprising his role for this new series. Stay tuned as more details on this new series become available.
