Oblivion - Theatrical Trailer

Reported by Outsiders - 2012.12.08

The Mayans might've predicted the end of the world, but they probably never imagined it would look like this! Feast your eyes on the dazzling debut trailer for "Oblivion," the new sci-fi adventure movie from filmmaker Joseph Kosinski (TRON: Legacy). Here, Tom Cruise stars as Jack Harper, a post-apocalyptic repairman that becomes humanity's last hope of finding the truth about Earth's demise.

If that's not enough to blow your mind, well, the movie also has Morgan Freeman as a leader of a hidden society of human survivors; Olga Kurylenko as a beautiful and mysterious female warrior; and a collection of awesome-looking costume designs that resemble a cross between Star Wars and Logan's Run. And hey what's that, lurking in the shadows? Oh, just a large alien warthog creature that would make a Tusken Raider weak in the knees. Screw Matthew Vaughn, maybe Kosinski should direct the next Star Wars flicks.

Tom Cruise stars in Oblivion, an original and groundbreaking cinematic event from the director of TRON: Legacy and the producer of Rise of the Planet of the Apes. On a spectacular future Earth that has evolved beyond recognition, one manís confrontation with the past will lead him on a journey of redemption and discovery as he battles to save mankind.

Oblivion stars Tom Cruise, Morgan Freeman, Olga Kurylenko, Andrea Riseborough, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau , Melissa Leo
