Spielberg Is Not Looking To Rush 'Robopocalypse'

Reported by Outsiders - 2013.01.10

Sources are telling Deadline that Steven Spielberg is slowing down and putting the brakes on his giant science fiction movie, Robopocalypse. Spielberg originally planned on shooting the movie this spring for Fox and Disney through DreamWorks but changed his mind to start at a later date because he doesn't want to rush the expensive film. He just wants more time to work on the project and has not dropped out of the project.

The movie is to star Chris Hemsworth and Anne Hathaway in a film adaptation based on the Daniel H. Wilson novel and with a script by Drew Goddard.

The film is about 'the battle for survival after mankind generates its first mass intelligence computer brain only to see it escape.'
