The Angry Birds Movie - Full-Length Trailer

Reported by Outsiders - 2016.01.27

Check out the first full-length trailer for the new 3D animated comedy "The Angry Birds Movie," in which an irritable group of feathered animals are preparing to go to war with some pig-like creatures that have invaded their peaceful tropical island.

Based on the popular game app where flightless birds are slingshot-ed into the air, the film follows "Red" (voiced by Jason Sudeikis) who gets his world shaken up when some mysterious green creatures known as pigs arrive on his tropical island. With the village starts going to pieces, Red goes looking for the legendary Mighty Eagle (voiced by Peter Dinklage) who sits high atop the mountains for some infinite wisdom and guidance to help put an end to the pig invasion.

In the 3D animated comedy, The Angry Birds Movie, we'll finally find out why the birds are so angry.

The movie takes us to an island populated entirely by happy, flightless birds or almost entirely. In this paradise, Red (Jason Sudeikis), a bird with a temper problem, speedy Chuck (Josh Gad), and the volatile Bomb (Danny McBride) have always been outsiders. But when the island is visited by mysterious green piggies, its up to these unlikely outcasts to figure out what the pigs are up to.

The Angry Birds stars the voices of Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Kate McKinnon, Bill Hader, Peter Dinklage, Keegan-Michael Key, Tony Hale, Ike Barinholtz, Hannibal Buress, Jillian Bell, Danielle Brooks, Blake Shelton

Release: May 20th, 2016
