FOX's Gotham - Extended Featurettes

Reported by Outsiders - 2014.08.23

Go deeper into the world of FOX's hotly-anticipated, Batman-prequel series "Gotham" as the network has released this four-segmented, extended featurette for the fall-slated drama that casts Southland's Ben McKenzie as a young Commissioner Gordon during his early days as a rookie police detective. Though Jim Gordon is not the only Batman-related comic book character that you'll see as a fresh tenderfoot in the upcoming series.

"You'll see a young Catwoman; a young Poison Ivy; a young Penguin; a young Riddler -- possibly The Joker," McKenzie says in the clip with a slightly-slanted grin. He also adds "You'll see all these legendary characters, but you're seeing them in a point in their lives, which have not been really exposed before."

Based upon characters published by DC Entertainment and produced by Warner Bros. Television, GOTHAM is an origin story of the great DC Comics Super-Villains and vigilantes, revealing an entirely new chapter that has never been told. The drama follows one cop's rise through a dangerously corrupt city teetering on the edge of evil and chronicles the birth of one of the most popular super heroes of our time.

Gotham stars Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue, Jada Pinkett Smith, David Mazouz, Sean Pertwee, Robin Lord Taylor, Camren Bicondova, Cory Michael Smith, Clare Foley

Release: September 22nd, 2014 (on FOX)
